		<description>Thanks for the suggestion, Mark!  I'll may set up another WP instance to investigate this at some point.  But the newer php install I am using is working quite well and more interesting challenges keep arising.  So I don't know if I'll get back to this at some point or not.</description>

		<description>WPC2 has a lot of "@-silencing" going on.  Removing those can help diagnose issues.

My guess would be that they have some sort of opcode cache enabled (like APC or eAccelerator) and that could be causing issues.  Post the fatal error that's causing the problem and I might be able to save you some time, as this is a path I've trodden before. :-)</description>
