It is so grossly inaccurate and it is so easy to tamper with, and it is so strongly biased towards webmasters/internet professionals that it has no - repeat NO - real meaning for an average site. Only the top-500 (some claim top-1000) sites have a large enough sample base that their reults are somewhat accurate. For all the other sites it is just a joke. By easily installing the Alexa toolbar, the average webmaster can move his own site easily up several tens os thousands of positions.
