Gone Caving?
See the problem is that I am losing stuff. Over the last year I’ve done a bunch of neat stuff in forum and blog development, PHP, DOM, Paypal, CVS, VisC and Delphi. But all of it was 1 time stuff. Things that I have used and put in place and never need to think about again.
I don’t want to lose any more of that knowledge. Here enters: The Code Cave. A place for cold storage of my best one off solutions that I may nevaer need again, but you might.
If you use something here, please let me know. If I am doing something wrong, or the hard way let me know that too.
I expect over the next few months, I’ll be busy cataloging my “[Mental Notes]” emails and turning them in to blog entries. Some of what I put up here will be free, some will not. I expect I will toss AdSense on here eventually and use that money to buy another seat license for VBulletin, if I get enough readership. Maybe I’ll allow others to post in specific topical areas. I’ll probably have a journal too.
We’ll have to see how this all works. My brain is a scary place and who knows what crusty bit will fall out once I start organizing. Much of that stuff in there is three decades old or more and things were much different back then, but I continue on doing my own thing…
Just so you know, for a long while, this blog will likely be a pretty strange read straight through. That’s because I am using it as a true Log. Just like a traveler’s log, some entries will tell a story, while will just be mundain scribblings about the geological structures passed along the way and how many rations were consumed.
Hmm I feel like I should type something very dramatic here like: “So come with me as we explore the deep recesses of this nether world and who knows what gems we will find together.” But that might be kind of cheesy so I won’t put you through that…

ok i have this problem and i dont know how to fix it…….i accidenly locked my phone and i havent reset the lockcode. And the last 4 digets of my cell phone number wont unlock my phone…what do i do now???????? i need help ASAP! And i need a easy way out!

Whoever’s in charge of this site — can you please please please turn off the Dutch translation?
It’s so painfully bad it makes my eyes bleed (first — then other body parts). Machine translation doesn’t work, face it. — nobody can get through three paragraphs and keep their sanity. Now these pages, however readable in English, just take space and bandwidth, and stuff up google results… I don’t dare to read the French or Italian: when mousing over, not even the tooltip is correct! [And the katakana for japanese... Sheez...]

This site is about to get a redesign anyway. I’ve been working on a new theme for it. I’ll consider taking the translation off when I apply it.
